“You took a rag-tag group of students with so many different backgrounds, all with different majors and you made it feel like we were one big giant family. You have been an amazing teacher you created such a safe environment – I can’t thank you enough. THANK YOU!!!!! FOR EVERYTHING!”

There is liberation and joy in a safe theater space. I believe in the student having the power to come in with their full strength – not checking or leaving anything at the door – But, being able to allow the community to hold it with them so that we can all move in a positive unity within the theatre space. My curriculum promotes exploration, critical thinking, freedom to try and fail, and to grow – all with supportive collaboration. The art of storytelling is universal. My classes encourage the development of artistic expression wonderfully unique to each individual. I utilize acting techniques – improvisation, text exploration and analysis, along with the student’s own creative imagination and instincts. My classroom, workshops, and private coaching will always provide a safe space to explore, challenge, encourage, create, grow, and have fun! By utilizing my skills, life experience, aptitude, witty insight, thoughtfulness to process, and a genuine passion for the arts, I am confident I can unwrap the most authentic, unique, and vibrant performance in you!

“I learned how to be myself, how to jump up and say I want to try, and I learned it’s ok to not know and to try anyway.”

“I really loved you as a professor because you actually seemed interested in our interests and would listen to our opinions about different things and situations in the world. Thank you for making me want to work hard and teaching me more about the world of theater.”

“Not only are you a cool person you are also great at your job. When I tell people about my acting class, I always say how cool it is and how my professor's just dope. I really would be in class thinking to myself sometimes: ’Damn, my professor is cool as hell.’”
